the Next-Gen Console War for Parents

Recently, there has been a lot of hoopla about the so-called "Next-Gen Console Wars" (Next Generation Console), which led many unsuspecting mothers in a frenzy. The purpose of this article is to bring those with limited number of video gaming experience to the light.

1) Microsoft Corporation XBOX 360

The XBOX 360, compared to other Next-Gen console, was released for a while 'time now. With this in mind, this console stimulates a wider library of games at this time then the other consoles.
XBOX Live its exploitation can be considered a strong appeal for the 360 that allows players to interact and play online with fellow Xbox Live members (a field that is pretty weak for other consoles).
There are 2 different packages for the time when the XBOX 360 can be bought, one being the Xbox 360 Core and the other the XBOX 360 Platinum. The Core rings up to $ 299, while the platinum to $ 399. It may seem that for most parents Core would be the better investment, but I would say that it is not. Included in the Platinum version, which is not in the Core, a hard disk is required for online play and how to act and how the only memory card will always be needed. All necessary cables are included as well as a wireless controller, which in the end if you decide to purchase a basic system will cost about $ 100 just for the hard disk.
In addition, Microsoft has recently announced measures to improve the capacity of 360, one of which is a system similar to TiVo.
With the future of the game around the idea of console that acts as a focal point for all activities of a multimedia, Microsoft has certainly taken steps to remain a strong participant in the console war.

2) Sony Playstation 3

The Playstation 3 offers consumers the highest quality of graphics on the market at the moment. Although it may seem that both the strength, but it can also be seen as a weakness that I will explain momentarily.
The Playstation 3 uses a new type of disc called Blu-Ray that has a larger amount of memory compared to DVD. One problem that can be seen that it is the DVD company has just released HD (High Definition), the DVD, although not yet as elaborate as Blu-Ray, console still provides the necessary tools for games. Within 2 years, Blu-Ray will most likely then replace DVD, however, is still a long period of time.
There are 2 different packages for the Playstation 3, a 20 GB and 60 GB version. 20 GB rings with up to $ 499, while the 60 GB rings up to $ 599. The reason for the purchase of 60 GB instead of 20 GB is similar to the XBOX. 40 GB of more than $ 100 is a worthwhile investment extremes. However, the price is $ 599, which is now a 'heavy price to pay for the average person.
There is no doubt in my mind the Playstation 3 port probably the longest life over other systems of all is "Next-Gen" quality. The problem is, with the best 'Next-Gen "quality, come the best' Next-Gen" Price.

3) the Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii when pitted against the 360 and PS3, in terms of graphics, the lower rates. When, in graphics, are the lowest, the rates of Wii at par or better in almost every other sector imaginable almost.
The first, which can be considered the affordable price of the Wii. The Wii rings up at $ 250, basically half the sum that the costs of buying a PS3.
Nintendo has also implements the system of a new type of game that is completely interactive. Using the Wii remote sensor places the player in the game also creating a game experience totally different for all types of players.
The Wii is becoming the center of many social events such as the family, such as rallies. "If an experienced player or new to the scene of the game, Wii offers a pleasant experience for everyone."

I hope this article is very clear on all the parents, their difficulty of thinking of buying a "Next-Gen" console.
