SimCity For iPhone Review

The release of The Sims has completely shifted the focus from SimCity. Compared to the latter, the former is a game in depth. The task of creating a city of zero requires a lot of skill and attention than the Sims. When this is compared with enthusiasm rather mundane activities in Sims, there seems to be no possibility of comparison, as SimCity won easily. However, credit must be given for both games that have changed the way in which simulation games have been played. Their concept has been copied, but rarely succeeded.

I first played this game in a Super Nintendo in 1991. Also, this version was a big problem at that point of time. It would be incorrect to say that it seemed like the best game ever. The only thing that made it difficult to enjoy the new versions was the lack of money to buy games. The New Year is expected so that the tax rebates could be used to buy games.

We all have played the new versions and found them as good as the original, if not better. Some may have found a step backwards, but the change of pace from the fear inspired depth and replay value SimCity 4 for the more simple and easier to play Simcity was very pleasant and enjoyable. This simple model is similar to the first version of the game released. The only difference lies in the presence of new features in the latest version.

Even if the game is understandably much simpler than the most recent major release, SimCity can still be daunting for players who are not familiar with this style of game. You assume the role of mayor, in which you are given an empty stretch of land and a lot of money, and set loose to build the city of your dreams.

You should consider every aspect of your work to succeed in this. It will provide homes, offices, roads, energy, lighting, fire and all other stations, facilities and services to build a world class city. Of course, you can not afford to destroy the environment in the process. Nobody will come to live in a dirty city. For those who have no idea how to proceed, the game offers a tutorial that will help you do the right thing at the right time. At the end of the day, you are going to be successful only if you experiment and make them right.

If you want the game with the best graphics on the iPhone, this is the game you must choose. As you can enlarge your city, you can see in perfect detail. The building seems clear and distinct. Watching your city take shape on a piece of vacant land is a lot of fun. The graphics are well supported by a good sound and music. The tracks are suitable inspiration for colossal task on your hands.

The controls do not leave any room for complaints. To the left and bottom of the screen, there are several buttons that bear a menu when touched. Each button will give you the information of a particular aspect of your city. You can go through your building options or seek your guidance counselors, with the help of these menus. To make the structures on the map, use the zoom feature.

SimCity is a great game with a single defect, but is not suitable for the iPhone / iPod. Build your home city, a focus every aspect of the city, enjoying the great graphics and audio and zoom in and out, how and when you please-all this makes a lot of stress on your cellphone. The game lags and slows down very often, and even the city is blocked when it reaches a certain stage of development. While previous versions were very close to being classified as non-reproducible, the latest version 1.4 does not improve things much. The game is fun until your city is finished and begins to grow rapidly. This is where the game freezes and keeps crashing.

SimCity is a fantastic game in itself. On iPhone, guarantees countless hours of gaming pleasure. However, the fact that the game can not be taken to its logical conclusion is a big negative. Of course, the game is almost perfect until the city gets too big for your own good. Once this defect is remedied in future versions, this game would certainly get a higher rating.

Game Score: 7 / 10
