There are some great games out there for the 360, good quality games displayed on a nice monitor really lets you appreciate the visual effects. Compared to the 360 HD DVD player, Dell's 50" screens are 720p/1080i 1368x768 resolution, and not like the new 1080p 1920x1080 that's out now.

The KING KONG 360 HD DVD movie didn't seem to be HD or 6x better than a regular DVD movie compared to the xbox 360 HD DVD player. I was disappointed when I first viewed the KING KONG 360 HD DVD disc that is included. I was so sad that I was prepared to return it to Amazon, but then I changed the screen on the xbox360 HD DVD (which I hadn't done since I bought the DELL 2yrs ago with the ARIA DVD) the 360 HD DVD movie simply 'came to life!'

The 360 HD DVD has beautiful colors, detail images in the shadows,real blacks and a 'film like' appearance to the whole 360 HD DVD . I've seen KING KONG on regular DVD and it was nice, but this Xbox 360 HD DVD Player does something to the 'feel' of the movie detail, for example: in the 'T-REX battle,facing the last beast, I could see KONG clearly (360 HD DVD) "BITE the TONGUE" of the T-REX and ripped it out of its MOUTH!.

I missed that split second detail in my regular DVD player, but not in the 360 HD DVD player. You'd better get some good xbox 360 downloads.

This player does what HD should do... blow you away with detail and presentation, the 360 HD DVD players great. The mpeg 4(AVC-H.264)/VC-1/codec is in full glory in 360 HD DVD. But so is Blu-ray, now that they too are adopting the more modern compressing codes and correcting their earlier players (firmware:Genesis chip disable/Samsung BDP1000) / movie releases (old mpeg2) along the way. Finally, the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player is a great add-on for the 360 console, the answer to the Blu-ray PS3. Buy it!

In general, I believe EQ2 has a pretty nice crafting system compared to UO, EQ, and SWG of years past. I thought I would summarize a few of the things that I've learned in my first 25 levels of crafting and alchemy.

First, don't try this without a TON of space. In fact, I highly recommend you create another "mule" character and equip with lots of 14 slot bags, rent an apartment, and buy a couple of teak strongboxes for selling all of your trivial crafting stuff. Next, make your way over to your tier 1 zone and get ALL harvesting skills to 20+ so you can start in Antonica/Commonlands.

I would recommend you research and prepare to make inks in bulk. I made 100+ iron gual and carbon inks and although my fingers are sore from clicking, those inks sell for around 1gp each. This requires secondary skill in both harvesting and mining, so you should focus on raw minerals from mining and tuber roots. These items will produce the washes, oils, and reagents for the final combines.

Take the time to acquaint yourself with the new crafting system and the buffs. Each "buff" lasts 4 seconds to cover the length of each tick of the game. There are three such buffs and each one not only "buffs" the next tick and boosts your skill, but also corrects errors that pop up from time-to-time while you're crafting. You have 2 seconds to clear the error with the appropriate "buff" and if you don't you'll suffer in your combine and be caused physical damage in the game. I put the "buffs" on their own menu bar and move near the crafting window so I can see with my peripheral vision when those errors pop up.

Make sure you use the durability buffs if you have any, as the others sacrifice quality for speed, and also, check to see which buff of the three costs power to use. You'll want to avoid overusing that key, as you'll eventually run out of power if you're not careful. Usually drinking water works fine if you're concerned.

What I do is wait until I see positive or negative numbers pop up above the chemistry table (which signifies the beginning of the tick) and very quickly hit a buff before an error has a chance to pop up. If you wait too long after the tick, you may hit the key precisely when an error pops up causing you to use the wrong correction measure and injuring your combine. If you get the timing right, you'll never botch an error correction and buff nearly every tick of the combine.

Watch for a special, rare buff to pop up in the error window. Alchemists Insight. It lasts 7 minutes and improves your crafting durability by 10% if you successfully use the proper buff to activate it. Good luck!

Starting EverQuest 2 can get a little tricky and difficult. It may take alot of time if you are new to the mmorpg world and you have no

idea what is going on. To begin you will have to create a character, keep in mind the name you give to your character will be

permanent so make sure it's something that is satisfying to you and it does not voilate any of SOE's terms otherwise they may ban

your name. You will first start by selecting your race, I strongly suggest reading over some race guides which gives you an overview

of each race and their stats.

After you've finished choosing your race and name you will choose a starting city. The worst part of this is with city that you choose,

you will only be provided with certain races for that city. Again you should spend some time looking over a race/class guide before

continuing as this is another permanent choice. All the important decisions are smacked right in the beginning of the game when

everyones a newbie. Don't you just love it? You will either end up on one of the following cities known as; Outpost of the Overlord,

The Nursery of Greater Faydark, Darklight Woods or Queen's Colony.

Once you've completed your character creation I strongly suggest exploring the buttons and speaking to every NPC in your town

and learn as much as you can from each person. I also strongly suggest you save every gold you make early on the game. Saving the

EQ2 gold early can provide a better cause in the future. A good way to get the early gears is by questing, grab every possible quest

you can to help you level, collect gold, get fully geared and experience up. It would be wise to spend some time within the newbie

areas to get to know the game and your character better.

Once you know the basics you will want to learn more of the characters abilities and racial attributes to help develope your character

even further. You would also want to spend some time to get to know the enemies home as well and learn of their strengths and flaws.

You will also need to gain status for yourself and your guild. The biggest advantage you get with the status has to spend less gold on

Taking Down Ragnaros In World Of Warcraft

In the mythology of World of Warcraft, Ragnaros is know as the Firelord. In Ancient times, he fought in the name of the Old Gods against the Titans. Eventually, his power was sealed into the Molten Core. When a dwarf unlocked the bindings holding Ragnaros captive, Ragnaros began to create an army of living stone. The Molten Core is the easiest of the raid instances Blizzard has provided its maximum level player, but is by no means a push over. The key to many of the boss encounters in Molten Core is teamwork and cooperation. Getting forty players all on the same page in regards to who does what and when, can be a taxing task. It is essential during the Ragnaros fight that everyone is playing to their top game. If one player fails at their role, the entire raid can crumble.

The fight doesn't start until a player, usually the main tank, talks with Majordomo Executus, the boss right before Ragnaros. This allows the leaders to talk about the strategies they will use, and placement of the group. The room is huge, after all, it is the domain of a fire god. There are rock outcroppings sporadically placed along the edge of a spiraling land mass surrounded by lava. As the spiral pulls towards the center, where Ragnaros will eventually be, it becomes very thin. The main tank and off tank both stand fairly close to each other at the tip of the spiral. The melee group positions itself further back on the spiral, near the last outcropping before the spiral begins to tighten. The ranged damage players spread out over the rest of the board, within range of the soon-to be target. The healers assigned to each group get close enough to heal their players. All players prepare for one of the most awe inspiring moments in WOW.

The Ragnaros encounter has two stages that will repeat. The first stage is an all out brawl where Ragnaros will take as much damage as you can dish out. In this stage Ragnaros has a couple of attacks in his retinue. The Wrath of Ragnaros is signaled by speech and text saying, "Taste the Flames of Sulfuron." This attack knocks back all players within melee range, potentially throwing them into the lava and out of the fight. All melee except the main tank back out before wrath occurs. Ragnaros will use wrath every 25 seconds. It can be resisted, so having the main tank in fire resistance gear is mandatory, and melee damage suggested. If the main tank resists wrath, the melee fighters can run right back in and join the fight. If the main tank is thrown, the off tank runs in and picks up Ragnaros, and the melee group gives him a few seconds to gather more threat. Ragnaros also throws a fire ball at ranged fighters, damaging then, and knocking everyone around them into the air. This attack does not affect the person it is casted on, but those around him, thus why the ranged units must be properly spread out. This first stage lasts for 3 minutes. If the group hopes to take down this powerhouse of WOW, he needs to be at or below 40% life at the end of 3 minutes.

Stage 2 is known as the Sons of Flame. When Ragnaros retreats, he spawns 8 small fire elementals to attack the raid party. They don't do much damage to melee fighters, but they do have a nasty aura effect seen elsewhere in WOW that steals magic users mana, and damages them for it. Each warrior in the group, ideally four to five, should try to grab and hold two Sons. Healers need to keep the warriors alive, so they can hold them while the rest of the group takes out the Sons one by one. Ragnaros returns to the playing field after a minute and a half or when all sons are dead. It is a good idea to have a Warlock banish one of the sons, giving everyone a moment to get back into position before Ragnaros returns.

Hopefully in the transition between stage 1 and stage 2, many of the players survived. If too many died during either stage, the remaining portion of the Ragnaros fight becomes exponentially harder. When Ragnaros pops back up, it's the same fight as stage 1. If the group was abe to get Ragnaros down to about 40% before he sank back into the lava, chances are they can do the remaining damage within 3 minutes. When Ragnaros dies, prepare for a lot of congratulations, great loot and look forward to a long raiding career in WOW.

Guild Wars is a great game. With all the features of other popular massive multiplayer games, all with no monthly subscription. The

expansion, Eye of the North is no exception. This expansion adds 4 new regions all with their own quests and monsters allowing for

18 additional dungeons.

This new and only expansion for Guild Wars was developed to act as a bridge to the rumored Guild Wars 2. A bridge was required

for ArenaNet to introduce the new maps, dungeons, and heroes, Thats right, I said new heroes. In fact, there are 10 new heroes and

150 new skills available to Guild Wars: Eye of the North players.

Eye of the North is an expansion to the previous three chapters - Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall - and picks up about 8 years after

the first game left off. A great earthquake spreads across all 3 continents on the map of the game, and strange creatures begin to

appear. These are the new monsters that have been added with the expansion.

The expansion also features 40 new armor sets, some of which are rare and some stand-alone items. If you'd like to find a list of

newly added armor sets, see the Guild Wars wiki. Gold is easier to come by compared to other MMO's such as World of Warcraft.

As an expansion, it caters to experienced players, and has minimum level requirements to be accessed. There is no starting area or

character creation - your existing characters from the previous campaigns gain access to the Far Shiverpeaks from the main towns in

each of the three world areas.

If you ever get stuck in a particular region of the game there are multiple Guild Wars Maps available to help you through both the

open region as well as maps for the individual dungeons. Sometimes without a map, it is impossible to navigate through the dungeons.

The expansion seems to have more structure compared to other releases from the Guild Wars series. There are 4 new title tracks and

as you complete a certain number of tasks for each track, new merchants will be made available to you.

As far as I know, cheating is restricted in the Guild Wars world by their server. Most MMORPG's have systems in place to prevent

cheating, I wouldn't expect much else from ArenaNet.

Guild Wars: Eye of the North has been long awaited, and it appears the wait has paid off - it is an exceptional expansion and adds a lot

of new and exciting content for existing players. The map in Eye of the North is very beautiful and the environments are easy to get

swept in.

Ncaa Football Rosters for Ps3: How to Download

Electronic Arts' phenomenal NCAA collegiate football video game swept over millions of gamers in US. Since it's been created, more

and more video game aficionados went gaga over it because it never ends on being developed - each year, new interesting features

get included. These addictive video game features, especially the latest versions of the game, include:

d. Open the USB storage device. It should display a window on your computer.

e. You create a new folder on your USB storage device and name the folder PS3. It's important to name it PS3 so that your PS3

system will recognize the roster folder

f. Find the SAVEDATA file extracted from SAVEDATA.zip.

g. To save the file on the USB storage device, you can drag the SAVEDATA folder or copy and paste SAVEDATA folder into the

PS3 folder located in the USB storage device.

h. To load it to your PS3 system, without putting the game in the system, start PS3. Sign in only with the username you dedicated to

the roster file.

i. Plug in the USB device into the USB slot of the PS3.

j. Go to PS3 menu to get to the "Game" section.

k. Scroll down to "Saved Data Utility, then click "x".

l. Pick "USB Device", then press "x".

m. Pick "NCAA Football 08" or any NCAA Football game version. Click "triangle" then "copy".

n. The file will be copied to the hard drive of the PS3 system. Just insert NCAA 08 or any version and voila! You're ready to play with

your freshly-downloaded rosters!

many of the most anticipated titles of 2007 will launch on the PS3, some on multiple platforms, others exclusively. As impressive as

the hardware is, it's really not important in the scheme of things; what really matters is what games you can actually play!

The PS3 is costly enough as it is, and as with anything else you invest in, you wouldn't want to do it before reading up on it first. What

better way to do that, than to check out some PS3 game previews? Generally speaking, the best sources of PS3 previews will come

from those websites and magazines that have generally covered PS2 and the original PS from the outset. General gaming sites like

Gamespy/IGN, Gamespot, 1up, and GamesIndustry.biz are generally good sources of quick, easy to read news, game previews, and

reviews. The quality varies, but what is common to each of these is that they will compare their subject matter to the competition. In

this case, exclusive PS3 titles would be compared against games on Xbox 360 and Wii in any PS3 game review.
