In order to legally download the ROM file or the game you must own the cartridge or the CD of the game in. This legal loophole seems very difficult to control and balance. (If I download a game from a site, like anyone is going to know if my cartridge or CD?)
E 'a mystery to me, if this software will be useful to mania or harmful to the video game producers. I am sure their is a good way to market this type of software legally in a sort of package or packages that will eliminate some of the free to download and do some 'emulation more user friendly and not to mention profitable. For example, if I were to happen on a software CD that includes an upper part of the line Super Nintendo Entertainment System emulator with thirty or forty of the best platforms for game titles for a reasonable price I would jump on it. The aim of this would be to eliminate all the problems of trying to find and use emulators downloaded for free from the Internet. This epidemic of the Internet is still in its infancy and must be dealt with money in mind.
